How to Find Your Apple Watch Model Number
Some Watch models have the Apple Watch model number engraved on the back of the Watch. However, if it's faded or you don't see it, checkthe Watch app for an easy Apple Watch model number lookup. Here’s how to find your Apple Watch model number:

- On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
- Tap the My Watch tab and then tap General.
- Tap About.
- On this screen, you’ll see a section that says Model. It will contain a number in it, but you'll need to tap this number to revealthe model number.
- Once you've tapped on the number, a new four-digit number preceded by the letter A will appear. This is your Apple Watch model number.
Now that you have your model number, you can check the table in the section below for an easy model number lookup. This will tell you which series your Apple Watch is.
