With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you might be curious to know what meal deals supermarkets have lined up for February 14, 2023.
Once New Years is over and done with, supermarkets make way for Valentine’s Day. The annual celebration of love and romance welcomes a wave of pink and red as well as hearts becoming the dominant shape.
Ahead of this year’s celebrations, we’ve done some digging into the best supermarket meal deals around. Prepare to feast this February.
Supermarket Valentines Day 2023 meal deals ranked
Asda takes the top spot this year thanks to their epic new meal deal. There is plenty to celebrate this Valentine’s Day, as Asda’s meal deal will see you get a three-course meal and a box of chocolates, which will only set you back £15. You also have the option to swap out the box of chocolates for a bottle of wine.
The supermarket has brought back some fan-favorite dishes from previous Valentine’s Days, but added 17 all-new items to the menu. The meal for two includes a starter, main, two sides, dessert, and wine or chocolates for less than £20. A pretty sweet deal if you ask us.
With the choice too numerous to list, we thought we’d pick out some highlights from Asda’s romantic meal deal menu: Truffle Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Slow Cooked British Beef, Vegan Mushroom Arancini Hearts with Truffle Dip, 30-Day Dry Aged Sirloin with Smoked Garlic Butter, British Duck Breasts with Morello Cherry Sauce, Plant Based Wellington with Mushroom Duxelle, and Cod Fillet with Samphire & Sicilian Lemon & Marjoram Butter are some of the stars.
Asda has gone a step further by also giving couples a free Sky Movies voucher when shopping the meal deal.

Valentine’s Day 2023 meal deal from Marks & Spencer comes second
Coming narrowly in second is Marks & Spencer. Every February, M&S have one of the most coveted deals for Valentine’s Day and it’s not hard to see why.
For £20, you can get a three-course meal for two with a bottle of Prosecco or wine included. You will also be given a variety of choices for each course. Below are the choices for each course with the original price of the dish.

Sainsbury’s Valentine’s Day 2023 meal deal comes in third place
In third place is Sainsbury’s meal deal launching this February 8, 2023. The meal deal comes in at the lower price of £15 and still gives the customer choice in the meal deal combo, but not as much choice as with Marks & Spencer.

Co-op and Tesco take joint last place
Supermarket giants Tesco and Co-op rank last in comparison with the other Valentine’s Day meal deals.
Co-op has a three-course meal for two available this February costing £15. It comes in at £12 for Co-op members. However, you’ll have to pay for booze on top of your meal, meaning that this deal with drinks included will hit near the £20 mark.
Similarly, Tesco will have a three-course meal deal for two available for £12 but only for Tesco Clubcard holders. Tesco does, however, throw in a bottle of Prosecco with the meal deal. Yet it is only available for those with a Clubcard and has less choice than the higher-ranked supermarkets.
